Nate Forester Legacy Memorial Scholarship

Details about who the charity event benefits:

ALL Profits and raffle ticket sales from this event will go to benefiting our Keepers for Good Christmas and Holiday Fund at Richmond Goalkeeping Academy.
RGA is a Goalkeeper Specific training academy located in Richmond, VA. Each Christmas our Goalkeepers select multiple charities and organizations to give back to during the Christmas and Holiday Season. (See below for the organizations that they have chosen to give to this year!)

This year RGA Goalkeepers have chosen multiple local non-profits, and that means a lot to us! Our Goalkeepers have set a goal to raise $8,500 from October 26th-December 17th, 2023.

About The Organizations we have chosen to help this Christmas and Holiday Season:

1) Moments of Hope Outreach: Based in Hanover, VA, Moments of Hope has continued to help 100's of families keep food on their table and provide emergency shelter to those who have lost their homes. In addition to their outreach, emergency shelter, and food pantry, Moments of Hope also provides shelter to those that are homeless and / or are living out of their vehicle during the Christmas Holidays. It is our goal to use $1,200 of the funds to purchase and donate non-perishable food items to help restock their food pantry that provides aid to 350+ people per week in Hanover County and North Richmond.

2) Provide All Kids at local Hospitals in Richmond with Christmas and Holiday Gifts: Our second goal is to use $4,500 of the funds to provide all the children who have to spend this Christmas and the holidays in the Hospital (in the Greater Richmond area) with gifts. In 2019, with the help of family, friends, and supporters from all over we purchased more than 240+ gifts for the children who spent Christmas at VCU Medical Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital. In 2021, we purchased more than $6,000 of gifts for Chippenham Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital and Henrico Doctors Hospital. In 2022, we purchased another $5,300 worth of toys and gifts for all children who had to spend Christmas and the holidays at Chippenham and St. Mary's Pediatric Units. Our goal is to reach all pediatric hospitals in Richmond, VA again this year!

3) Shood: Our third goal is to use $1,500.00 of the funds to be donated to Shood, a Non-profit that provides the homeless and low-income individuals with shoes and more. The funds donated will be specifically used to purchase new and properly fitted track spikes that will be given to Richmond City Public School Track Teams in low-income areas.

4) Memorial Scholarship Fund: Our last goal is to use $1,300.00 of the remaining funds to re-fund our Legacy Memorial Scholarship Fund that is in the memory of Founder, Amanda Forester’s late brother who passed 6-years ago in a car accident leaving behind a son born just 3-month after his passing. This Scholarship is given to a soccer player in the state of Virginia who loses a parent(s) or primary guardian suddenly. The scholarship pays for the child’s soccer dues and is paid directly to the child’s soccer club.

We are so excited to give back to these organizations and our community!

Any donation big or small, even a dollar, helps us hit our goals.

We can impact a few by ourselves, but together we can impact the world! Please help us by sharing this with others and on social media.

Thank you in advance for your support!

From all of us at the Richmond Goalkeeping Academy, our RGA Goalkeepers and the RGA Family, THANK YOU!!

Convert!

Main content

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place, instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and start writing.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop the element into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

To style the headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and captions inside your rich text element, first:

  1. Give the rich text element a class
  2. Select the element within the rich text that you want to style — a blockquote, for example
  3. Click the + sign below the selector field to “Nest selector inside of” your rich text element’s class

How to customize formatting for each rich text element

And this would be an H5
  • A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing.
  • For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel.

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and start writing.

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the “When inside of” nested selector system.
