RICHMOND
GOALKEEPING
ACADEMY

NEW THIS YEAR! Train alongside some of the region’s top goalkeepers at RGA’s Elite Commuter Goalkeeper Camp, taking place July 20–22, 2026. Designed for serious goalkeepers ages 12–18, this high-level training experience is open to players currently competing in MLS NEXT (all divisions), Girls Academy (GA) (all divisions), ECNL, ECNL-RL, NPL, N1 and NCSL/National League-level environments.
This commuter-style camp delivers the intensity and professional training environment of a residential camp while allowing players to return home each day. Goalkeepers will train daily from 9:00 AM–12:30 PM, receiving over three hours of focused, intense goalkeeper-specific training across all three days.
To ensure maximum quality, attention, and individualized feedback, the camp is limited to just 20 goalkeepers.
Players will work directly with RGA’s Directors of Goalkeeping and experienced staff in a welcoming yet highly competitive environment designed to elevate every goalkeeper’s game to the next level.
If you are a motivated goalkeeper looking to challenge yourself, refine your technical and tactical abilities, and train in an elite-level environment, this camp is built for you.

Each 3-day camp is packed with reps and Elite goalkeeper training to improve your goalkeeper's skillsets and knowledge for the game and position.
Training also includes daily on-field classroom training to help the goalkeepers expand their tactical and technical knowledge of the game.
This year we have extended the Goalkeepers training days to include 2 additional hours of training!

Why 3 days versus 5 days? Goalkeeper training and camps are intense. Unlike field player camps, Goalkeeper camps are filled with a lot diving, sometimes contact to contact, and various physically enduring drills. Goalkeepers need more rest and recovery for their bodies after intense training like this.
Our camps are fun, filled with great drills, and teaching lessons made for the the beginner goalkeeper on up to high school Elites. We have found that 3-days is the best fit for goalkeeper's recovery and injury prevention for the long-term.
