RGA KEEPER WARS 2020
Parents, GKs, and Field Players, we are excited to announce the registration release for our 4th annual Keeper Wars Charity Tournament. This event is a charity event. 100% of all Registration Fees and raffle ticket sales go to charity.
Our RGA Goalkeepers have set out to raise $5,000 between November 22-December 19th to give back to two non-profits in our community. We will have The Local Cup Mobile Coffee & Pastry Truck in attendance as well. This event is open to goalkeepers ages 8-18 years old. Field players are welcome too!!! (must play in the goal for event)
There will be some awesome prizes given away to the winners of each division! ALL registration fees will be donated to Moments of Hope Outreach and SHOOD. Come celebrate, cheer, and enjoy as we help support and raise money for our Richmond community!
What is Keeper Wars: Keeper Wars is played by two players, each trying to score as many goals as possible upon the opposing player while simultaneously defending his/her own goal. We will hold two 2-minute rounds. At the the halftime, goalkeepers will switch goals. Whoever has the most goals moves on closer to the championship round. Each keeper will have the opportunity to play a minimum of 3 games each to advance in the tournament and then potentially the championship round. Field players will need to play in goal and defend their goal with their hands, however, they will have multiple opportunities to show off their shooting skill when the ball is in their possession! The tournament field is 30 yards long by 20 yards wide. The field is divided in half (15 yards on each side) with a regulation size goal on either side.
This is open to the public for all goalkeepers and field players ages U9-U19
