Goalkeepers FOR good
2020 Giving Project

Join us again this year as the Richmond Goalkeeping Academy Goalkeepers and our RGA Family set out again to give back to our community. This year RGA Goalkeepers have chosen two local non-profits who are helping those in the community who have been impacted the most by COVID-19.  Our Goalkeepers have set a goal to raise $5,000 from November 22-December 19th, 2020.

Non-Profit #1: Moments of Hope Outreach. Based in Hanover, VA, Moments of Hope has continued to help 100's of families keep food on their table and provide emergency shelter to those who have lost their homes.

Non-Profit #2: SHOOD. Shood is a non-profit based out of Chesterfield, VA. Shood collects used running shoes from the public, disinfects, and cleans them and gives shoes away to those in need and the homeless. Most recently, Shood has started working with local inner city schools, providing their track and field team with running shoes, special track spike shoes and running socks.

We are so excited to give-back to these two organizations who are giving to many in our community who are in need and have been impacted the most by COVID-19.

Any donation, even a dollar helps us hit our goals. By ourselves we can impact a few, but together we can impact the world! Please help us by sharing this with others and on social media. Thank you for you support. From all of us at the Richmond Goalkeeping Academy,  our Goalkeepers and RGA Family!!!!

What is Keeper Wars: Keeper Wars is played by two players, each trying to score as many goals as possible upon the opposing player while simultaneously defending his/her own goal. We will hold two 2-minute rounds. At the the halftime, goalkeepers will switch goals. Whoever has the most goals moves on closer to the championship round. Each keeper will have the opportunity to play a minimum of 3 games each to advance in the tournament and then potentially the championship round. Field players will need to play in goal and defend their goal with their hands, however, they will have multiple opportunities to show off their shooting skill when the ball is in their possession! The tournament field is 30 yards long by 20 yards wide. The field is divided in half (15 yards on each side) with a regulation size goal on either side.

This is open to the public for all goalkeepers and field players ages U9-U19
