Our Group Goalkeeping training has 2-6 Goalkeepers to 1 coach ratio. Goalkeepers are split into smaller groups based on skill level during the technical progression portion of training. Near the end of the session, goalkeepers are brought back together and placed in a game-like tactical drill environment. This forces similar actions and quick decision making that they would experience in games.
This is one of the best training environments for goalkeepers to develop their goalkeeping skillsets, and be placed in more game-like environments without losing the personalized and direct coaching from their RGA goalkeeping Directors and coaches.
Our current groups include:
Level 3:
> College and Professional
> Elite Selects (High School)
> Elites (Middle & High School, Ages: 13.5 years old & up)
Level 2:
> Advanced (High School)
> Jr Elites (Middle School, Ages: 11-13)
> Intermediates (Elementary and Middle, Ages: 10-12.5)
Level 1:
> Foundational (Ages 8-17 years old)
> This group is separated and grouped by Age
> Age Groups Train at different times
PLEASE NOTE: Level 3 is by Invite only. If you are new to RGA and think your goalkeeper is qualified to join the Level 3, please contact us at info@richmondgoalkeepingacademy.com . However, after further review with our Directors, you may be required to attend one Level 2 session for evaluation prior to receiving a Level 3 invite.
Which Group is Best for my Goalkeeper?
If you are New to goalkeeping and not currently playing travel soccer, we recommend that you begin with our Level 1 Foundational class first.
Our staff will evaluate you in the Level 1 group to decide if you need to stay at our Level 1 Program for development, or be promoted to our Level 2 Program.
If you are an Elite or Advanced Goalkeeper, we ask that you begin with our Level 2 group sessions to be evaluated for potential promotion.
If you are between the age of 14-18 years old and are ECNL, ECNL RL, Girls Academy, or MLS Next, you will train with our Level 3 - Elites.

ONLY 6 GKs Max/per session. GKs are separated by age group and skill level.
$75-$85 per GK
Sessions are offered weekly Year-round.
Prices vary based on our current seasonal programing.
Spring & Fall: 1 Hour Training Sessions ($75)
Summer & Winter: 90 Minute Training Sessions ($85)
IMPORTANT! Parents, you will be sent an invoice to pay online within 24-hours after sign-up. If payment is not made within 24-hours of receiving the invoice, your appointment will be cancelled.
We will also reach out to you by phone after we receive confirmation of your appointment.

*Collegiate session prices differs from above and is offered only in the Winter and Summer.
